Additional Fees

>> Outside Service Time Supplement <<

$ 10.00 additional per visit

If you need an early morning visit (between 6 - 8 am) or a late evening visit (between 7 - 10 pm) we can take care of your pets at this additional nominal charge.

>> Outside Service Area Supplement <<

$ 3.00/mile (one way) for each mile over ten miles

We have a 10-mile service area from our home base in NE Portland (Rose City Park neighborhood). If you are outside our 10-mile service area, we can take care of your pets at this additional nominal charge. Minimum of a 30-minute visit.

Time and a half of quoted cost

Includes: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

$ 35.00 per hour + actual hard costs

This includes vet visits, grooming, shopping for supplies, emergencies and anything required for your pets or your home not planned in advance. Detailed invoice is provided, then payable immediately upon your return.

If you are locked out, we can come by with our key to let you back in.

Payment is due immediately and paid with cash, money order or PayPal.

Policies

>> Payment Policy <<

All contracted services are to be paid in advance of the coming services - no exceptions. Regular dog walking service payments are to be paid the first day of the week or month of services.

Payments are accepted in the form of a check (preferred) or cash.

In the event of additional unforeseen visits or other costs (such as food, supplies or vet fees), payment is due within five days of the completion of services.

Dog walking/animal care

- 24-hour notice = 100% credit to future visit

- Less than 24-hour notice = no refund

Overnight care

- One week notice = 100% credit to future visit

- Less than one week notice = no refund

Vacation care

- Two week notice = 100% credit to future visit

- Less than two week notice = no refund

Summer, Thanksgiving and Christmas Overnight Care

- Four week notice = 100% credit to future visit

- Less than four week notice = no refund

>> Key Policy <<

We require two keys made from your master key from a locksmith. These are for the primary and back-up walkers. Your home safety is of utmost concern to us so your keys will be guarded and safely stored. Any alarm codes and/or home safety procedures will also be kept confidential.

>> Emergencies <<

We will handle any emergencies with your pet or home that may arise during our care with client's authorization. Fee is $ 35/hour and payment is due upon client return home.
